Brewed to Serve Restaurant Group has named Josh Hopkins (STG Trattoria, Abattoir) as the new executive chef of White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails. The restaurant is located Downtown, on the ground floor of 270 Peachtree St.
"We have respected Chef Hopkins since his creative work at Abattoir. When he went over to STG, we became regulars there, enjoying numerous dinners with family and friends. We find his commitment to sustainability and Southern simplicity to be in perfect alignment with our vision for White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails," Brewed to Serve Restaurant Group co-owner Cindy LeBlanc said in a release.
Despite recent speculation that the chef may land at Woodfire Grill, Hopkins will officially begin work at White Oak Kitchen the first week of February.
