Restaurants Poutine: the ultimate gut bomb

Bantam + Biddy, the new Ansley Mall restaurant from Lance Gummere and Shaun Doty, appears to be doing a booming business with neighborhood folks. When I lunched there Friday with two friends, there was only one free table in the restaurant, including the enclosed patio.
My friend Frank, who loves all things Canadian, ordered the above bowl of poutine. It's duck-fat fries topped with local cheese curds and chicken gravy. It's the ultimate super-calorific gut bomb that has migrated to many other countries, where recipes may be changed.
I ordered the chicken pot pie and another friend, Lee, ordered the pork loin. Portions were so large that none of us could eat everything.
