Notes: From Bocado to the terror lurking in many restaurants

I lunched Friday with my usual crew at Bocado. This was after stopping by Gio's Chicken Amalfitano, hoping to introduce more friends to the restaurant's novel fare. But, alas, they are open for lunch on weekends only.
