Amid several reports and rumors surrounding chef Ron Eyester's upcoming projects (AJC, Eater, Tomorrow's News Today), CL confirmed that while no leases have been signed, Eyester (Rosebud, Family Dog) is in fact considering the former Fox Sports Grill space in Atlantic Station for a diner concept and the former Waffold space in Morningside for a pizza joint.

After a 22-year run, Carver's Country Kitchen (1118 W. Marietta St.) will close its doors March 30.

New Indian restaurant Chai Pani Decatur is set to open Fri., March 1 at 406 W. Ponce de Leon Ave. in the former Watershed space. It will encompass many of the same themes as its original restaurant in Ashville, N.C., known for its "chaat - crunchy, spicy, sweet, tangy, brightly flavored Indian street snacks," in addition to Indian street sandwiches, "uttapam" (Indian crepes), "thalis" (traditional entrees), desserts, beverages and signature cocktails.

The former East Side Lounge reopened last weekend as Union, another club concept, at 485 Flat Shoals Ave.

The Sweet Auburn Curb Market location of Cafe Campesino closed on Fri., Feb. 22, Eater reports.

Curly's Fried Chicken has reported it will be closing its Howell Mill location as it searches to relocate.

The Mill Kitchen & Bar in Roswell is officially open for dinner. Featuring modernized Southern comfort food prepared with ingredients from local farms as well as sustainable meats, the 4,100-square-foot restaurant includes a large bar, a main dining room that seats 48, and a large outdoor patio. Dinner is served Sun.-Thu., 5-10 p.m., and Fri.-Sat., 5-11 p.m. Lunch service begins on Mon., March 4 and will be served Mon.-Sat., 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Brunch service and Sunday supper are set to begin Sun., March 10.
