The Cook's Warehouse, Decatur Mon., May 6, 7 & 9 p.m. Simple Abundance Cooking Class with Iberian Pig's Chef Landon Thompson This class is all about demystifying and cooking global cuisine utilizing readily available, locally sourced ingredients led by Georgia's own chef Landon Thompson. Gio's Chicken Amalfitano Tue., May 7, 5 p.m. Gio's Chicken Hosts Food Bank Supper Club Event Taste rustic Italian cuisine at Gio's Chicken Amalfitano while also giving back to the community. Supper Club provides diners the pleasure of enjoying a meal at some of Atlanta's hottest restaurants while supporting hunger relief. Each month a different restaurant serves as host and 20 percent of each diner's tab for the evening benefits the Food Bank. Details

Cook's Warehouse, Brookhaven Tue., May 7, 6:30 & 9:30 p.m. Simple Abundance Cooking Class: Hands-on Sushi Class participants will roll up their sleeves and try their hand (literally) at making sushi with a longtime sushi chef. Details

Canoe Tue., May 7, 7 p.m. Wine Educational Dinner Beverage Director, Matt Bradford, will be leading guests on a guided tour of specific wines and how to identify them, pair them, and most importantly, appreciate them.

BBQ vendors include D.B.A. Barbecue, Bone Lick BBQ, Moe's Original BBQ, and Fox Brothers, plus bonus vendors such as Fry Guy, S&J Woodfire Pizza (BBQ and Regular Pizza), Poor Huey's Hot Dogs, Frozen Pints Ice Cream (dessert).
