Burger stand restaurant will open in Buckhead Atlanta mixed-use complex

After weeks of rumors, it’s now been confirmed: Shake Shack is coming to Atlanta.
The modern burger joint concept by New York restaurateur Danny Meyer and Union Square Hospitality Group - which, after opening in Madison Square Park in 2004, attracted hordes of drooling people waiting anxiously for grub - will open its first Georgia location in Buckhead.
More specifically: Buckhead Atlanta, Oliver McMillan’s mixed-use complex that’s rising from the massive hole that was to become the Streets of Buckhead, and which will feature high-end retailers and the global headquarters of Spanx.
