Downtown Decatur Square Sat., Oct. 19, 12-5 p.m. Decatur Craft Beer Festival While the granddaddy of Atlanta-area beer festivals sold through its tickets within a couple hours of going on sale in mid-September, if you can volunteer for a shift of the festival you get a ticket. Details

Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Sat., Oct. 19, 8 a.m. A 360-Degree Look at Food This conference provides a day-long immersion in seminars, networking, and skill-building that is all based around food. Of course, food and drinks will be provided throughout the day. Details

Peachtree Road Farmers Market Sat., Oct. 19, 9 a.m.-noon. Naked Juice/Wholesome Wave at Peachtree Road Market Naked Juice, AOL, and nonprofit Wholesome Wave Georgia will be present to support the Peachtree Road Farmers Market and promote access to and awareness of fresh produce in Atlanta. Chef Nick Melvin will provide cooking demos, and the market will have other activities for the day such as arts and crafts for children, face painting, and mobile murals. Details

Flying Biscuit Cafe Sat., Oct. 19, 12-3 p.m. Flying Biscuit Café Celebrates 20 Years Enjoy an afternoon of music, games, activities, and Flying Biscuit's tasty food. Flying Biscuit's menu items, including biscuits, fried green tomatoes, and love cakes will be available to purchase. Drepung Loseling Sun., Oct. 20, 10 a.m. 7th Annual Tibetan Festival Since the Dalai Lama blessed Drepung Loseling in 2007 and 2010, the monastery has been dedicated to creating a "Little Tibet" in Atlanta. Guests can experience this idea through the Tibetan Festival's cultural food, music, dance, and guided meditation. Details

D.B.A. Barbecue Sun., Oct. 20-Wed., Oct. 23, 11:30 a.m. D.B.A. Barbecue's SweetWater Tap Takeover For three days, SweetWater is taking over the taps at D.B.A. If you visit on Wednesday, a portin of the profits will benefit the Waterkeeper Alliance, an advocacy group dedicated to preventing water pollution. Doc Chey's Noodle House Sun., Oct. 20, 1:30 p.m. Doc Chey's Noodle Eating Contest at Morningside Mile's Block Party The 6th Annual Doc Chey's Noodle Eating Contest will take place as part of Morningside Mile's Block Party. Contestants get a bowl of noodles, a cup of water, and the first to finish wins a $100 gift card to Doc Chey's. Please register in advance. Details

Bhojanic Sun., Oct. 20, 3-8 p.m. Bhojanic's 10 Year Anniversary Celebrate Bhojanic's tenth anniversary with live music, food, and a henna artist on hand. The party will also feature a food and cocktail competition where guests can vote on new drinks and dishes for Bhojanic's fall menu.
