Diesel Filling Station Mon., May 26, 3 p.m.-2 a.m., Zombie Pub Crawl What do you get when the folks behind Chambers of Horror and Diesel Filling Station join forces? An epic pub crawl with all the fake brains and guts you can handle. Register at Diesel. Admission gets you a zombie makeover from a professional makeup artist. Once you've been sufficiently zombified, pick up your complimentary drink/shot tickets for each of the five official Zombie Pub Stops and join the horde of the undead as they descend upon Virginia-Highland. The Sound Table Sun., June 1, 1-3 p.m., Unhooked Generation Presents: Everybody Loves the Sunshine- An Ice Cream Social DJ Applejac, a veteran member of Atlanta's music scene who curates eclectic mixes across all genres including house, soul, and hip hop, will hold his first annual fundraiser. The Ice Cream Social will raise money in honor of Applejac's mother, Bettie Durden, who lost her battle with multiple sclerosis in 2005. All proceeds benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to support research and education. Ice cream, popsicles and other sweet treats will be served, and vegan options will be provided as well. Cocktails will be available for purchase at the bar. Various items will be up for bid for a silent auction.
