True Food Kitchen, a health-centric restaurant with global influences, opens at Lenox Square today in the space that formerly housed Lenox Square Grille.

? ? ?
True Food has given the space a serious facelift, with large circular lighting fixtures, colorful metal chairs, and a full open concept. Plants and chalkboards covered with inspirational words adorn the walls. Its mission, carried out by chef Stephan Manning and owner Sam Fox, is to make the connection between diet and overall health with the help of science. All ingredients are selected based on the importance of an anti-inflammatory diet, which has been suggested to help avoid serious diseases with age.

The globally influenced menu includes vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. True Food offers menus for lunch, dinner, and brunch on the weekend. The menus are broken down into starters, salads, entrees, pizza, and sandwiches. Look for the Spaghetti Squash Casserole ($13), Andy’s Favorite “TLT” ($12) with fried tempeh instead of bacon, and edamame dumplings ($9).
