Truly Living Well Sat., Oct. 18, 8 a.m. Atlanta Tour de Farm The Community Farmers Markets of Atlanta present this bike tour of urban farms. Participants will tour the sites of eight farmers market vendors and partners on their way to a farm dinner prepared by Jarrett Stieber of Eat me, Speak me. Guests can chose to camp out at the end of the tour and get a shuttle car back to the Grant Park Farmers Market in the morning. Details

Poncey-Highland Oct. 18-27 Inaugural Highland Restaurant Week The Poncey-Higland, Virginia Highland, and Morningside neighborhoods begin their first ever restaurant week this weekend. Participating restaurants like the Highland Tap, Darkhorse Tavern, and the Woodfire Grill will offer special prix fixe menus. Details

Brewhouse Cafe Sat., Oct. 18, 12 p.m. Little Five Points Halloween Parade and Festival A yearly tradition in Atlanta, this parade returns to eclectic Little Five Points. Stillhouse Sat., Oct. 18, 2-6 p.m. Andrews Moonshine Festival NASCAR legend Bill Elliott will be in attendance at this car show and moonshine tasting. More than 60 different types of ‘shine will be available in all different styles. There will be live music and a classic car show that highlights the connection between stock cars and bootlegging. Octopus Bar Sat., Oct. 18 3rd Anniversary Party Celebrating its third year in business, this bar will host fire breathers, a DJ, and a band. Chefs Angus Brown and Duane Kulers will be whipping up a special menu and an additional outside bar will have drink specials. Details

John Howell Park Sat., Oct. 18, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Battle of the Burgers Runners will compete in this 5k race, and more than 20 Atlanta area restaurants will also be competing in a burger-cook off. In addition to being a massive sampling of Atlanta’s burger offerings, this event will also benefit Embraced, a foundation that provides medical equipment such as crutches and wheelchairs for those in need.
