Katana Teppanyaki & Sushi has soft opened in Buckhead.

Katana Teppanyaki & Sushi has soft opened at 3345 Lenox Road, replacing Truffles Grill 15 months after the Hilton Head-based eatery’s shutter. The Japanese steakhouse from Mali Hu, founder of the One Sushi Plus in Brookhaven, offers a modern twist on hibachi cuisine with dishes like green tea salmon, lobster tempura with filet mignon, braised pork belly buns, and a daily fish crudo.

After a nine-month stint, Sarah Justice has left post as head of Holeman & Finch’s cocktail program. Justice is reportedly returning to Pennsylvania to be closer to family. Kaleb Cribb, formerly of Farm 255 in Athens, has taken her place at the 2277 Peachtree Road restaurant and bar.

The Lawrence has named a new sommelier and wine director, Adeline Demichiel, who guests can see kick off her post at 905 Juniper St. with a “Bubbles and Burgers” dinner this Sun., Nov. 16 at the Midtown restaurant.

Although it’s not officially slated to open until early 2015, a new bar, Haus PUB, has popped up at the Castle in Midtown, offering patrons tasty previews of the future menu for 87 15th St. Guests can pop in through Sat., Nov. 15 to try dishes like shrimp and grits with polenta cake, braised pork shoulder with a sharp cheddar biscuit, veggie antipasto, and broiled oysters with pancetta.

Jake’s Ice Cream has moved locations within Irwin Street Market (660 Irwin St.), and is now occupying a “cozy corner” off the main floor. Meanwhile, breakfast and brunch spot Hilda’s has shuttered, but two new concepts are reportedly coming soon: Old Fourth Ward Pizza and a new Thai restaurant, too.

Marking a first for Atlanta since the closure of R.M. Rose Distiller in 1906, Old 4th Distillery has begun production of craft vodka and gin at 487 Edgewood Ave., its bottles complete with an Atlanta-centric label. The passion project from brothers Craig and Jeff Moore is slated to finally open to the public this December after several years of planning and production. The craft spirits should hit local store shelves by mid December.

The Beltline Food Truck Park is now serving patrons of the Poncey-Highland neighborhood, offering eats from roving vendors like Highland Bakery, Yumbii, and Gotta Have It. Look for these three and more every Sunday at 730 Ponce de Leon Place.
