Cabbagetown Park Fri., June 12, 6:30-10 p.m. Movie Night at Cabbagetown Park Kick back and enjoy street style food while viewing the film adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s “A Series of Unfortunate Events.” The menu for the night includes barbecue pork ribs, farro grain salad with feta cheese, olives, cucumber, and mint, and cold lentil salad with cilantro and olive oil. Valenza Restaurant Sat., June 13, 12-3 p.m. Big Green Egg Cooking Class The second annual Big Green Egg Cooking Class will be hosted by Chef Matt Swickerath of Valenza and Chef Stephan Herman of HAVEN. Students will prepare a menu of smoked foods, and Big Green Egg Expert Bruce Bohannon will provide tips for how to use and clean a Big Green Egg. Tickets include lunch. Reservations are required. Brook Run Park Sat., June 13, 2-6 p.m. Tap Into Georgia Beer Festival Come check out craft beers from more than 20 Georgia breweries at the only festival featuring exclusively Georgian beer. The Rays and The Bad Neighbors will be playing live throughout the afternoon. Proceeds will go to The Dunwoody Nature Center. Designated driver tickets are also available. Details.

Brookhaven MARTA Station Sat., June 13, 3-8 p.m. Brookhaven Beer Festival Why go to the beach when there’s a festival behind the Brookhaven Marta station? Kicking of the summer right, spiral entertainment presents the return of the fifth annual Brookhaven Beer Festival. This year there more beer, more food and more entertainment. Sample over 150 different types of beer and visit the wine tasting tents. Sailing to Denver and Ocean Street perform live throughout the day. Only thing left to decide is: Lagers or Ales? Details.

The Cook’s Warehouse - Midtown Sat., June 13, 7-9 p.m. The Taste Club: Mediterranean Take a tour of what the Mediterranean has to offer with chef and partyologist Nancy Waldeck. Chef Nancy will start with a Moroccan menu featuring carrot salad, oil-cured black tapenade, goat cheese mouse and sesame flatbread paired with white wines and finish the evening with a lemon yogurt cake and a dessert wine selection. St. Philip’s Cathedral Sun., June 14, 5:30 p.m. Third Annual Sunday Supper Nine Atlanta chefs have come together for the Peachtree Road Farmers Market’s third annual Sunday Supper. The Optimist’s Adam Evans, Bocado’s Adam Waller, Little Tart Bakeshop’s Sarah O’Brien, Saltyard’s Nick Leahy, and more will create family-style dishes using local ingredients from the market’s farmers and vendors. Second Self Brewing Company and Brookhaven Wines will be on hand for beverage services. Details.

The Argosy Sun., June 14, 7 p.m. The Wild Bunch: A Benefit for the Giving Kitchen A stunning lineup for a great cause, the Wild Bunch will include food and cocktails from chefs and bartenders from many of the city’s best restaurants, including Empire State South, Octopus Bar, Kimball House, Last Word, and Victory.
