Grant Park brewery Eventide Brewing has opened a tasting room that allows for “such pleasantries as beer tastings, live music and lawn games” in their spot at 1015 Grant Ave. S.E.

Heads up caffiends: Hugh Acheson and Dale Donchey’s Ponce City Market highly anticipated, chic coffee shop, Spiller Park Coffee, is hosting a pop-up on Fri., June 19 at PCM.


Stockyards Atlanta, a 130,000 square-foot, $30 million office and retail development that is transforming three existing buildings at 10th and Brady Avenue in West Midtown, has signed the owners of the popular Buckhead spot, Painted Pin, as tenants. We hear the new spot will be called the Painted Duck. We’ll keep you posted.

Atlanta-based real estate brokerage firm the Shumacher Group has sold the Feed Store, a chef-driven, farm-to-table restaurant in historic College Park, due to the former owner’s health problems.

Former Woodfire Grill chef Tyler Williams plans to open By Hand, a Neapolitan-style pizzeria, on Lake Burton’s LaPrade’s Marina in Rabun County, Ga., next week. By Hand will reportedly serve salads and four 14-inch pies.

The Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta hotel is anticipating the arrival of chef Diego Oka of La Mar by Gaston Acurio located at Mandarin Oriental, Miami, for a celebration of Peruvian flavors in Atlanta from Aug.20-22. The menu will showcase a selection of authentic Peruvian dishes from upscale novo-Andean fare to Asian-Peruvian fusion. Guests can choose a la carte selections for lunch or a four-course tasting menu for dinner.
