Murphy’s Tues., June 23, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Dine-In with Murphy’s Join Murphy’s for a fundraiser benefitting Atlanta’s Ronald McDonald House Charities. Murphy’s will donate 20% of checks to ARMHC to assist families of ill and injured children. Details.


Meehan’s Public House - Vinings Tues., June 23, 5:30-8:30 p.m. Yappy Hour There will be raffle prizes, drink specials and a delicious BBQ menu, with Georgia Homeless Pets receiving a portion of the proceeds. Well-behaved dogs are welcome but not required. Details.

Double Zero Napoletana Tues., June 23, 6 p.m. Hands-on Pizza Making Class Be guided through the unique and nuanced process of making dough at the highest level by expert pizzaiolos. Details.

The Original El Taco Tues., June 23, 6:30-8 p.m. Atlanta Community Food Bank Tweet-Up To increase awareness about “Summer Hunger,” the Atlanta Food Bloggers’ Society has partnered with the Atlanta Community Food Bank to host “Tweet-Up.” El Taco will provide some light bites and a special cocktails for the evening, with proceeds benefiting the ACFB. Guests are encouraged to bring canned goods to receive raffle tickets for prizes. Details.

Cooks and Soldiers Tues., June 23, 7-9 p.m. Six-Course Cider Dinner Join Cooks and Soldiers’s Landon Thompson for a six-course cider dinner to celebrate the summer solstice and Basque culture. Cooks and Soldiers will host John Eisensmith of Durham’s Six Plates and Foggy Ridge Cider founder Diane Flynt as the chefs alternate dishes and Flynt provides tasting notes and insight into cider-making. Seating is limited. Details.

Chateau de Saigon Tues., June 23, 7-10 p.m. Destination Vietnam Go Eat Give is hosting a Vietnamese dinner and cultural journey. Chateau Saigon will serve a family-style menu highlighting the French and Southeast Asian influences in Vietnamese cuisine. Dished served will include grilled pork rolls, egg rolls, papaya salad with shrimp and pork, pho, shaken beef, and more. There will also be two speakers: Boaky Vu, a refugee from Saigon who helped introduce pho to Atlanta, and Jenny Huynh, a Vietnamese American lawyer who backpacked through Vietnam. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Go Eat Give. Details.

The Sound Table Wed., June 24, 7 p.m. Kingdom Come: An Afropolitan Experience Come out for a night of international food and dance hosted by Anthony David. Chef Ramos of Urban Vines will serve a pop up summer menu inspired by Afro Caribbean foods and flavors. After dinner, WERC DJs Xavier Blk and Jeremy Avalon will spin Afrobeat and Caribbean sounds through the night. Details.

The Gifted Ferret Wed., June 24, 8-10 p.m. Max Presents The Groovy Grape Join Max for his throwback to the 70’s. Enjoy a disco wine tasting while jamming to hot tracks from Donna Summer, CHIC, Sister Sledge, and many more. Details.

Smoke Ring Thurs., June 25, 7-10:30 p.m. Sierra Nevada Beer Dinner Chef Jordan Wakefield of Smoke Ring has partnered up with Sierra Nevada to create the perfect midsummer beer dinner. Featuring a selection of the brewery’s rarest and lightest beers, the five-course dinner reaches the highest potential of the summer cookout. From the grilled romaine Caesar to cedar plank smoked salmon bouillabaisse, the dinner’s creativity pairs perfectly with Sierra Nevada’s deep bench of seasonal and limited-run beers. Details.
