strong>Atlanta Grill inside the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta will introduce a new menu and a new cocktail program when it reopens on Sat., Sept. 3. The restaurant will offer a Southern hospitality-inspired modern steakhouse experience complete with a redesigned interior.

fter eight years as a pioneer in O4W, 4th & Swift closed on July 24. Owner Jay Swift told Eater business declined with the openings of Ponce City Market and the Inman Quarter development. Swift plans to focus on Noble Fin in Peachtree Corners.

??Old 4th Distillery is expanding its operations to a new location at 536 Decatur St. and unveiling a sleek contemporary design for the new facility, slated to open in September. Plans call for a rooftop observation deck, private parking, an outdoor lounge, a 2,000-square-foot tasting room, and a cutting-edge 6,000-square-foot distilling facility.

strong>ASW Distillery (199 Armour Drive N.E.) is now open for weekly tours and tastings from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and from 2 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Located near SweetWater Brewing Co, ASW produces American Spirit Whiskey, barrel-aged bourbon, and single-malt products made using grains such as rye and barley.

once City Market concept Farm to Ladle, known for its rotating menu of fresh soups, salads, sandwiches and sweets, has opened its second location at Avalon in Alpharetta. The new location, which has an outdoor patio, serves dine-in and to-go breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.

eachtree Center’s CheeseCaked is slated to open a second location at Lindbergh Plaza in mid-September at 720 Morosgo Road, reports What Now Atlanta. The new 1,500 square foot eatery will feature more seating, space for events, and an expanded delivery area.

he Atlanta BAR-B-Q Festival returns for an eighth year on Aug. 12 and 13. A portion of the proceeds from this year’s event will go to Mercy Care, a not-for-profit that provides high quality, integrated care for Atlanta’s homeless and uninsured.
