Spoken-word artist Alix Olson (pictured) is considered one of the strongest up-and-coming voices in lesbian and radical feminist circles. She edited the recent anthology WORD WARRIORS: 35 WOMEN LEADERS IN THE SPOKEN WORD REVOLUTION (Seal Press), which features such familiar names as Michelle Tea, Ellen Myles and Patricia Smith. Olson appears at Charis Books & More tonight to help celebrate the shop’s 33rd anniversary, along with Katz of Athens Boys Choir and Karen G of Cliterati. Free. 8 p.m. 1189 Euclid Ave. 404-524-0304.
