FALL FIELDWORK SHOWCASE, co-sponsored by Several Dancers CORE and Emory University, is the culmination of a 10-week independent-artist workshop. During the Fieldwork sessions, local performers and their peers create, examine and challenge each others' creative efforts. Tonight's (DEC. 9) performances include Wayne Smith's dance duet, Ann Ritter's staged reading of a Flannery O'Connor short story, Sharon Mathis' and Alka Roy's original spoken works, and Cecelia Kane's art exhibit. $7. 5 p.m. Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts, Emory University, 1700 N.
