It's difficult to know, and even more difficult to pigeonhole the versatile author, activist, poet and professor NIKKI GIOVANNI. The world-renowned wordsmith, recipient of 25 honorary degrees, and a distinguished professor at Virginia Tech, lectures on issues plaguing the black community and signs her latest book of poems, Acolytes, today, FEB. 6, at Emory.
