The witching hour is upon us, folks. Halloween is here, and if you aren’t planted on the couch, overdosing on candy while being totally engrossed in the legacies of Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers and Freddie Krueger, there are a ton of shows happening all weekend long.

First, get the weekend started right tonight (Friday, October. 28) with the East Atlanta Black Mass. On this darkest eve. of the year, Jeffrey Bützer joins Molly Harvey of the Residents, and a ragtag crew of locals dubbed the LaVey Tones, to play the music of Anotn LaVey, PJ Harvey, Tom Waits, Nick Cave and Leonard Cohen — all songs about hell and the devil.
