NEWS BRIEF: School’s out, parade set for Friday after Braves win

School children all over metro Atlanta will not have classes on Friday because the Atlanta Braves won the World Series. A parade across the city to celebrate the victory will begin at the corner of Marietta Street and Peachtree Street and will then head up to 10th Street. The second leg will go along Cobb Parkway from the corner of Riverwood Parkway, ending up at Truist Park. A free concert at the venue headlined by local stars Big Boi and Ludacris will cap off the day. mlb.com
