Sunday night’s game between the Atlanta Hawks and the Cleveland Cavaliers was postponed, restaurants locked their doors, and CNN shut down its offices. This all happened over the weekend as a surge in COVID-19 cases took effect. Reports say Ticonderoga Club, Juniper Cafe, 8Arm, Supremo, Lucian Books & Wine, Field Day, A Mano and Bread & Butterfly all had to close due to vaccinated staffers testing positive for the virus. The state reported 2,334 new cases in the last two weeks, the biggest increase since the start of October. Little more than half the state’s population is inoculated. reporternewspapers.net
