WOW! Afro Festival

Celebrate a homecoming of African culture at what has been touted as Atlanta’s largest Afro festival, and enjoy a collection of music, food, fashion, games, dance, and arts. In an effort to give a platform and voice to local artists and performers, any Atlantan with a unique talent relevant to black culture or message on black empowerment can volunteer to perform at the festival. Local black-owned businesses are also encouraged to get on board in order to share their tastes and talents with fellow Atlantans. The festival will include a food tasting featuring foods like West African jollof and Ethiopian derek tibs. WOW! Afro Festival hopes to eventually grow its roots beyond Atlanta and expand to major cities in the United States and Europe. Be a part of this soon-to-be worldwide festival with performers and speakers from all walks of life at this toast to African society.
