CRITIC’S PICK
Sun., Nov. 8
Eric Lindell, Eddie’s Attic — For a short while, it looked like California’s Lindell was the new face of bluesy, rootsy, folk rocking music. But something happened after the heavily publicized Alligator release Revolution in Your Heart (2018) and he all but disappeared from the business — until the hard-to-find country-tinged EP, Oakland (2023), recorded for a tiny independent. It’s great to see he’s back and hopefully with new music. He has a genial, heartfelt, soulful voice and has written enough quality material to deliver a stunning show, something he did regularly about a decade ago. — Hal Horowitz
