Porcelain / Split Silk

From the venue:

An Austin-based post-hardcore band Porcelain presents material from their sophomore LP Today’s Minor Victories, featuring frontman Steve Pike and bandmates Ryan Fitzgibbon, Jordan Emmert and Eli Deitz. The interview outlines the group’s formation, influences, and their approach to recording with Scott Evans at Estuary Recording in Austin to capture their live energy. The record explores themes of grief, personal upheaval, and broader social turmoil, including references to life in the USA in 2026 and geopolitical events. The band’s history includes prior prolific touring and sharing bills with noted acts such as Unwound, The Blood Brothers and Touché Amoré, and the closing track “Closure” is described as a long meditation culminating in cathartic release.
